Boxing world champion Nicole Wesner trains with stappone
As professional athletes all know: no training means no success. It is crucial to train correctly and comprehensively to be able to perform at full capacity and avoid injuries. To aid her in this, boxing champion Nicole Wesner will incorporate stappone sensor soles into her training.
Nicole Wesner, boxing world champion, shows that it is never too late to start something new. When the careers of many professional athletes are ending, hers has just begun. At the age of 32, she decided to pursue her newfound passion – boxing – with full commitment. Her world championship title shows that it was the right decision. Becoming and remaining a world champion however, requires professional training that improves, not only her strengths, but especially her weaknesses.
Identify deficits.
No matter how thorough the training and how good the trainer is – there are deficits that are not visible. Because even well-trained eyes and sensitive bodies reach a limit. The correct training starts with the correct gait. Stappone invited Nicole Wesner for a 10-minute walk test and she will also use the intelligent sensor soles in her training.
STAPPONE Physio consists of the intelligent stappone sensor soles and the corresponding software. The soles are simply inserted into comfortable shoes (e.g. sports shoes) and measure the foot pressure load. The software provides visual live biofeedback on a tablet or PC as well as data on other movement-relevant parameters, such as weight distribution, roll line, stride length and gait symmetry. During a gait analysis, the smallest irregularities in the gait pattern and incorrect load can be made objectively visible. This can provide an initial indication of deficits that need to be avoided in training.
Avoid incorrect load during training
STAPPONE Physio can be used not only for gait analysis, but also as a valuable tool in professional training. With the help of live biofeedback, incorrect pressure load can be independently detected and immediately corrected while performing the exercise. Incorrect pressure load is therefore not incorporated and the training is optimized which also reduces the risk of injury.
Nicole Wesner will use stappone in her professional training. We are excited to give you more insights in the future! STAY TUNED!
