stapp one receives ISO 13485 recertification

stapp one was first certified as an ISO 13485 medtech company in 2020. We take this certification and the associated conditions very seriously and have once again met the strict requirements in 2021 making stapp one an official medically certified product for therapeutic use and scientific research.

One of our fundamental values at stapp one is that we firmly integrate our quality management system, including its rules, procedures and processes, into our everyday workflow.

The ISO 13485 certification also confirms and secures our international standard. Our strict processes regulate defined procedures in the company, such as processes for corporate governance and management, as well as fundamental procedures and supporting processes.

Top quality up to the promised standards

Our stapp one product undergoes several quality testing procedures. The intelligent stapp one sensor sole with corresponding medical software is used in the field of physiotherapy, rehabilitation and research for a wide variety of gait assessments and therapeutic treatments, providing valuable objective and accurate data. For an assessment, simply insert the soles into comfortable shoes and they measure the foot pressure load and the body’s center of gravity. The corresponding medical software provides visual, acoustic and/or haptic live-biofeedback for real-time monitoring on a laptop or tablet. stapp one offers a time-saving and far more accurate alternative to conventional devices such as cameras, pressure plates or treadmills.

To ensure consistency, quality checks are carried out between each step of production, followed by a final comprehensive check of the assembled product. Also the functionality and general quality of the product is checked at various levels.
